An associate professor at a Hong Kong university has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his teenage daughter and wife,

. Professor Khaw Kim-sun, 52, was picked up when officers raided his home in Tai Tung Tsuen in Ma On Shan on Monday morning.

A solemn Khaw appeared in Sha Tin magistrates court on Monday afternoon in a white striped button down shirt, with his hands held behind his back, as his charges were read to him. When asked by the court if he understood the charges laid against him, he nodded and said yes in reply. Khaw, who is being remanded in custody, is represented by barrister Ronny Leung Yiu-wai. Khaw is an associate professor at Chinese University’s department of anaesthesia and intensive care who also works at the senior medical officer at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin, police said.

After investigation, officers from the Sha Tin district crime squad arrested the man on Monday. The couple had four children and Khaw Lai-ling was their second child, according to police.

The car was bought by Hock Kim Heng Limited for about HK$325,000 in 2007, according to vehicle registration records. Company registration records show Khaw Kim-sun and Wong Siew-fing were the directors of the company. The court case is adjourned to October 16 in Eastern Magistrates’ Court.

wow... I can't believe the university professor would do things like that... he deserve to be arrest for doing things like this... hopefully he learn his lesson...
