Eliza Sam attended an event related to property in Vancouver at the Central and expressed her desire to buy properties in Vancouver and Hong Kong. When asked if her dream will come true this year, Eliza said: "Hope so. I missed the chance to buy property in Vancouver earlier. (Buy it together with your boyfriend?) I prefer to depend on myself. (Ask him to buy more property?) Yes, it is better for women to have financial income."

Mentioning about TVB planned to organise Mr. Hong Kong and Miss Hong Kong Pageant together this year, Eliza (Miss Chinese International) said: "What about the bikini segment? But it is quite interesting. (Finds it weird?) Has to test it in order to know the results."

Speaking about her good friend, Linda Chung's recent condition, Eliza replied she visited her when returning to Vancouver last month: "She is very happy. (Her stomach is getting bigger?) Not saying it but I saw it. (She gains weight?) She is having a blissful life." Eliza added she knew the baby's gender but could not reveal it. Asking when Linda will be returning to Hong Kong, Eliza responded she had no idea.

When mentioned about she accidentally scratched other people's car when parking earlier, Eliza disclosed she had taken photo of the evidence in order to prove she did not scratch the opposite party's car: "My driving skill in Vancouver is not bad but driving in Hong Kong is harder. I am a slow learner and usually drive from Po Lam to Tseung Kwan O. But I feel more nervous when driving to Tai Hang on that day." Eliza added she felt relieved whenever the GPS was switched on and her friend was usually beside her upon driving to unfamiliar road.

Well you have to take into consideration that they drive on opposite sides of the road in HK than in Vancouver....

I would be scared driving in Hong Kong too. Everything is on the opposite side and narrow streets

She will get used to the roads the more she drives. On another note, property already sells itself in Vancouver so I don't think there needs to be any more promotion.

What is the point in driving in HK! HK has one of the best public transportation systems in the world.

You don't really need to drive in Asia, Hong Kong especially with public transportation being so readily available. But on the other hand, if you can drive in Asia, you can probably drive anywhere in the world ...

I like her - maybe she can be the next up and coming star in TVB now that all the older ones have moved off

HK driving is scary because there are a lot of cars and they drive really fast. In Vancouver, probably have more lanes and not as congested! No need to drive in HK really.. transportation is so convenient there.

Roads are wider in vancouver and the traffic pattern are much easier to follow. She lost some of her baby cheek.

I think it's very different driving in Vancouver than in HK. They even drive on different sides of the road.

Driving in Asia is more tricky than driving in Canada and USA because of the narrow and winding streets as well as the traffic signs. Of course not to mention the reverse side of driving because the drivers in Canada and USA drive in the opposite sides of Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, UK, etc.
