Grandma can speak English now, how cool is that? At this age, you can't be too old to learn new stuff since the life expectancy gets longer.

It is so nice to see a good story. This grandmother proves that it is never too late to learn. I hope the children appreciate their grandmother and value their communications with her.

Similar to an earlier poster, this story made me smile as well. I think it was truly awesome that this grandma tried to learn English and email to communicate with her grandchildren. I hope that the grandchildren will learn to cherish their grandmother and reciprocate and learn some Chinese. :)

more props to her! even people who are younger don't have that motivation to learn another language! and for a 85 year old to learn english and on top of that emailing her grandchildren takes a lot of work and dedication!
