private car like scrap metal

A 20 years old youth drove alone passing through Ta Kwu Ling's Ping Che Road yesterday morning had a race with a private car, at which he lost control when turning, crashing into a one-meter-high curb, but the car still sliding due to momentum that the youth's car crashed into a private car parked at roadside. The private car was pushed forward to 40 meters before coming to a halt, and the youth was confirmed to be fatally dead after rescue.

Driver killed by the car accident was Yeung Siu-Hong. Police checked the license plate information to discover that Yeung obtained his license about a year ago therefore he was still relatively new. He worked as a chef staff in a Aberdeen restaurant. The car he drove at the accident was a black Toyota Corolla, and the registered owner was his good friend with last name Lo. It was learned that the two bought the car together, and due to his friend having a parking space at his village home, Yeung bought the car under his friend's name. Lo is currently traveling in England, therefore he doesn't know his childhood friend has a tragedy.

At the time of investigation, police discovered a closed-circuit television monitoring system outside of a logistic company, so they borrowed tapes to find that the moving black Toyota was followed by a white "racing car" in hot pursuit, therefore police did not exclude the cause of the car accident may involved "racing" out of control. Responsible for investigating the accident, Senior Inspector Cheng Chen-Wah, in charge of New Territories North Special Traffic Investigation Team, said that the police will investigate the causes of accident in three directions, including whether the deceased's blood contain alcohol, whether there was speeding (the road restriction is 50 kilometers per hour), whether there is any mechanical failure, etc., and called for witnesses to contact the Police.

The accident occurred at about midnight yesterday, in which the drove driving alone, going to Ping Che Village of Ta Kwu Ling to return and park the car at his friend, Lo, home. At that time the vehicle heading along northbound Ping Che Road, turning near Wuzhou Road at which the car suddenly lost control crashing into roadside curb issuing a loud bang. The one-meter-high curb was cracked due to the crash, and front of the car was destroyed. However, the car still had momentum to which the slightly slanted curb became a ramp that the car flew in air just like car stunts in movies, and then fall back to the ground, gliding more than 20 meters smashing into a garage door crashing into a car parked on the street before the car decelerated, coming to a halt on a pedestrian road. The driver was seriously injured and was unconscious.

A series of percussive noise alerted the villagers to check out, and they saw the vehicle's front destroyed, vehicle parts scattered all over the ground, and the driver was trapped in the compartment of which it looked like scrap metal. Villagers therefore hurried to call the police. Firefighters pried open the car to rescue the driver, and then sent to hospital for emergency treatment, but at 1:24 the driver was certified dead.

its a tragic story a new license driver should train before racing

Train before racing? Why do you need to race in the first place? Isn't it worth putting your life in danger for a moment of adrenaline? Speed kills, new license drivers should never race their cars to begin with. These youngsters don't know the risk and hazard of racing.

The car is a right off, what a waste of a young life! Why race? show off? I feel sorry for the parents.
